Our Vision

To develop human capital for the Bitcoin ecosystem in Africa through rigorous education, applied training, and structured pathways that enable women to participate competently, independently, and over the long term.

Founder’s Manifesto

Bitcoin Dada was founded to address a structural gap: the exclusion of women from meaningful participation in emerging financial systems.

Across Sub-Saharan Africa, women remain disproportionately underserved by traditional financial infrastructure. According to the World Bank, women are 7–10% less likely than men to have access to formal financial services. At the same time, Africa is one of the fastest-growing regions for mobile money and digital asset adoption, signalling a shift toward alternative financial systems that are more accessible, borderless, and user-driven.

For many across emerging markets, this is not theoretical, it is practical. It is already being used for cross-border payments, savings, and protection against currency instability. Yet access to technology alone does not translate into meaningful adoption.

The real barrier is participation.
Bitcoin Dada exists to close that gap by equipping women with the knowledge, tools, and community required to engage confidently with Bitcoin and the broader digital economy. Our approach is grounded in three pillars: education, application, and ecosystem integration.

Bitcoin sits at the center of this shift.

It offers a decentralized financial network that enables individuals to store value, transact globally, and participate in a digital economy without reliance on traditional intermediaries.

We design structured learning experiences that prioritize clarity over complexity. We create environments where women can move beyond theory into real-world usage. And we actively connect our community to opportunities within the wider fintech and open-source ecosystem.

Our goal is not to onboard users. It is to build capable participants.
We measure success not by reach, but by outcomes: women who are able to transact, build, contribute, and lead within this space.
Bitcoin Dada represents a long-term investment in inclusion within the next generation of financial infrastructure.

As digital finance continues to evolve, ensuring that women are not only present, but actively shaping these systems, is both an economic and societal imperative.
